The 71.6m/234'11" 'Utopia' motor yacht built by the Dutch shipyard Feadship is available for charter for up to 12 guests in 6 cabins. This yacht features interior styling by British designer RWD. Built in 2004, Utopia is designed for exquisite indoor/outdoor living and boasts voluminous interior and exterior spaces across several decks: ideal for bronzing, lounging or entertaining. Her features include an elevator and gym.
Six decks include a duplex sun deck, an entire owner’s deck and a vast main deck that provides both indoor and outdoor entertaining space. A lower deck gives crew a superb living environment and an under lower deck enables them to operate the yacht without needing access to guest areas.
The contemporarily styled interior sets modern furniture against a background of light oak panelling with mahogany inlays. Two large guest suites are located on the lower deck and a further four on the main deck forward, while the whole deck above is a 200 sq m owner’s suite.
Utopia is great for families thanks to her child-friendly setup. She offers guest accommodation for up to 12 guests with a layout comprising a master suite, two double cabins and three twin cabins. There are 9 beds in total, including 3 king, 6 singles and 3 pullmans. She is also capable of carrying up to 17 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht charter experience.
On your charter, you'll find plenty to keep you busy and entertained, notably a gym with all the latest equipment to maintain your fitness routine. Sit back with a glass of champagne in the deck jacuzzi. Whatever your activities on your charter, you'll find some impressive features are seamlessly integrated to help you, notably an elevator, making any part of the yacht quickly and easily accessible. Satellite communication systems keep you in touch wherever you voyage and with Wi-Fi connectivity you don't have to lose contact with the outside world, unless you want to. You can stay comfortable on board whatever the weather, with air conditioning during your charter.
Built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, she offers greater on-board space and is more stable when at anchor thanks to her full-displacement hull. Powered by twin Caterpillar engines, she comfortably cruises at 14 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 15 knots with a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles from her 156,700 litre fuel tanks at 13 knots. Utopia features at-anchor stabilizers providing exceptional comfort levels.
When not cruising Utopia has onboard an incredible selection of water toys and accessories for you and your guests to connect with the waters around you. Principle among these are two Lazer sailboats to bring out the explorer in you. Take to the sea on the Jet Skis offering you power and control on the water. You'll be loving the huge adrenaline rush as you zip over the water on one of the two WaveRunners. If that isn't enough Utopia also features waterskis, wakeboards, kayaks, WindSurfers and scuba diving equipment. Utopia features three tenders, but leading the pack is a 8.5m/27'11" RIB to transport you in style.
UTOPIA has a special place in the Feadship league of launches. The owner’s brief to the De Vries shipyard was very simple: build a yacht that would justify her name. Subject to no particular constraints the 71.6 metre (235’) yacht was planned with three priorities in mind: huge internal volume, unprecedented glazed areas and highly automated systems.
The yacht, manned by 16 to 18 crew, has an impressive audio-visual entertainment system, a state-of-the-art integrated bridge and a helicopter pad with refuelling facilities.
